Ogilvie & Co Smokey Bourbon BBQ Marinade is the perfect blend of bourbon whiskey and selected spices with a balanced smoked hickory flavour offering a distinctive tangy finish. Use as a marinade or baste with pork, chicken or beef before barbecue or grilling. Also great as a stir-fry or dipping sauce. Also includes a basting brush and recipe card.

For Marinated Pork Ribs remove membrane from back of pork bones. Place in a large plastic bag or non-metal bowl. Pour Marinade over, cover and refrigerate for 3 hours or overnight, turning occasionally. Preheat barbecue on high, reduce to medium. Drain Marinade into saucepan and boil 1 minute. Place ribs on grill for 15 minutes more or until golden brown. Cut into 3 or 4 rib portions and serve.

    Where did our journey begin?

    Since the very first Oak Tree was planted in 1997, the passion and dedication, coupled with an extraordinary microclimate, has seen what was until recently The Truffle & Wine Co. become a premier truffière and the dream of producing French black truffles (Tuber Melanosporum), one of the most highly prized food products in the world, had begun.

    Why is the Southern region the best to grow truffles?

    The first distinctly aromatic truffle was unearthed on the 28th of July 2003, a perfect black winter truffle weighing 168 grams. At this time, the estate was covered by 40 kilometres of truffle tree rows and 12 hectares of grapevines.
